Aesthetically pleasing, comforting, relaxing, great location Positive: Location was excellent 5 min walk to the town. The property itself was lovely really nicely decorated, it had everything we needed and was very clean. Entry to the property was great, really easy to use the door code and a lot better to have rather than having to use keys. The beds were exceptionally comfortable which really did make the stay, they were that comfy we asked the owner where he got his mattress from. We only stayed there one night but this is a place I would definitely book again. Even better we had free parking with the property as well. Negative: Some minor detail to kitchen facilities need to be added - notably no oven gloves ( the oven is high up and they are needed - I burnt my finger!) - no tea pot, and no cutlery tray for dishwasher- plus the best of these properties have a good supply of kitchen basics such as salt/pepper/oil. This would move this from an 8.5 out of 10 to closer to 10!

Lovely place to stay highly recommend Positive: The town house was clean throughout, all facilities you'd need for a stay were provided. Bedrooms both had lots of storage and beds were very comfy. Kitchen was compact but again everything you'd need for light meals or cooking. Nice modern bathroom with shower. On site parking was a bonus also, which made carrying the luggage in easier. Town centre was walking distance from the property. Easy access with the code which saved you trying to remember keys. Little garden would be lovely in the warmer weather. Negative: Parking was a bit tight - but only due to the way the other residents were parked. We couldn't fathom the heating, which at times was to warm - would benefit from a little how it works guide.

Negative: Kitchen cupboards and coat hooks high,couldn't reach the glasses etc in the kitchen.

Coffee etc provided, all essentials available if required (ironing board, washing machine etc) Negative: Few cables etc around the living area, these could do with being pinned safely, especially with small children. Not a massive issue but it was cold outside and house struggled to get warm, this wasn't an issue after having the heating on for about 3 hours (was set to 17c at 7pm on timer but this could of been a previous traveller who had done this!)

The house is located so close to the shops and markets in the heart of Chester. We loved how close the house was to the riverside and was within walking distance with lovely restaurants on the riverside. The property also had an excellent enclosed back garden that was very safe for our dog. The parking available at the property was great because we had free parking right outside the house and did not have to move it for the duration of our stay as everything is within walking distance. Negative: There was nothing not to like. We were happy with this property and would recommend to friends and family

The garden was a nice surprise - quiet and private, and great for lunch. Our parking area was very useful, but a bit tight to get in and out. Negative: Not much! A non-slip mat in the bathroom would have been good. The door lock worked, but sometimes took so long to activate that we started to worry what to do if it was broken.

Negative: Tin opener needs replacing and couch is initially comfy but after a while it's deffinetly not i guess you could bring pillows down to help but location is so good you don't need to be in much to use it anyway. Definitely will return.

A great base in an excellent location Positive: Excellent location. Good sized rooms and the bedding and beds are of a good quality. Good to have off road parking, although very tricky to get out of with other residents parking. Good kitchen equipment. Bathroom was well equipped and the shower had the standard pressure that you get from an electric shower, no issues with the eco toilet, it worked well. Good sized TV in the lounge Negative: The standard of cleaning needs more attention, there were crisps and chocolate both on the lounge rug and sofa blanket and there is a decent level of dust throughout the house alongside old cobwebs. The sofa in the lounge caused backache, style over comfort. The garden needs some TLC, not like the photo's. An investment in bath sheets, rather than rough old small towels would match the tag of luxury stay.

Positive: Loved it really. Great location to walk out in Chester, parking space a bonus. Great pubs and restaurants on the adjoining roads but beautifully quiet. House is well decorated and our dogs being welcome was fantastic too. Very good experience. Negative: The only things we didn't like, someone else would probably overlook. The shower was a bit on the gentle side... And the kitchen is chilly of a morning. If I'd had slippers with me I wouldn't have noticed... And if this is a public review rather than feedback to the owners, it should absolutely not detract from what is a super little find in central Chester. We'll be booking again.

A very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Positive: The property is in the perfect location for all attractions. The lounge is spacious. Every room was warm, even on very cold days. Parking is very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of coffee, and other nice touches. The location was quiet; absolutely no noise at night. Everything was very clean. Negative: The lack of instructions for the central heating, the TV, and the espresso machine make things a little difficult but not impossible. The bedroom cupboards are so large they take up a lot of the bedroom space, but if you need a lot of cupboard space then the cupboards are perfect.

Convenient for a city centre stay Positive: It was very comfortable, warm and well located for the city centre. Negative: Kitchen small and only one teaspoon and no wooden spoon, so could do with more equipment. There is parking, but it tricky to manoeuvre through a narrow street with double parking and the parking was on stones, which were scattered all over the road.

Perfect for a hassle free city break. Positive: Excellent location, close to the river and the city wall. Well equipped home from home. We enjoyed the coffee machine and the comfortable beds. Host provided 2 pillows and 1 towel per person. Negative: Parking space is tricky to get in and out of with larger vehicles if street parking car getting too close up to the house. Lovely place but needs toilet, sofa review Positive: Great location, well equipped home. Negative: The toilet was a nightmare eco toilet didn’t flush half the time. The sofa in the living room was so uncomfortable to watch tv , plus there was only seating for 2 people , so if you were more you would have to sit in the floor to watch tv. One the final day the frontdoor was key code entry, luckily my partner stayed in the property while I walked the dog, on return I was unable to open the front door, so I would have not been able to get my belongings and this was 9am 1hr before checkout.

Perfect little house for a short stay and perfect location. Positive: Great little house in a perfect location. Bonus parking at the front for a small car. Beds very comfortable. Communication with Tim was excellent, allowed an early check in and extra hour at check out which helped us immensely. Negative: Nothing major to report as negative, only feedback. Only 1 x 2 seater sofa. Another 3 seater is definitely required. The "eco" toilet is ridiculous. Very hard to use and doesn't full flush so you leave presents for the next person. As most "eco" incentives, it has the opposite effect. You have to fill the sink 4 or 5 times just to flush paper from a number 1 - false economy. Plug in bath didn't work so unable to have a soak.

Lovely house in a great location Positive: The house is well located, we were able to walk to everything within minutes. There are plenty of restaurants/bars within 5 min walk together with a Tesco Express. The kitchen is well stocked with cups etc. It also has coffee, UHT milk, sugar sachets, hot chocolate and tea bags. There is a small dishwasher and a washer/dryer with tablets for both provided. The shelves in the fridge door could have been cleaner but overall it was clean. The cupboards and oven were too high for us but as we ate out every day (other than breakfast) it was not an issue. In the lounge there is only a small sofa for 2 people but the space could easily take another sofa to offer 4 seats considering the house sleeps 4. The house has an iron and board under the stairs and a handheld vac. The wifi worked well and was stable. The garden space was nice, we managed to have a cuppa on the 1 day we had sun. There are 2 double rooms with really comfy beds, we slept like babies! Both rooms come with adequate hanging space, bedside tables and touch lamps & hairdryers. They are not large rooms but the space is adequate for short stay. Each room came with 2 towels and I assume that there would be 4 if 4 adults were staying but maybe check with Central Stays. The bedrooms lacked proper vanity spaces despite having large wall hung mirrors (i.e. no space to hold brush/pins etc or lay out makeup). Also, the socket in the bedroom at the front of the house is not near the mirror. The bathroom was spotless. It has an eco toilet (details on use are in the bathroom) but it worked really well and was simple to use. The mirror above the sink is too high, I could just see my eyes upwards! The shower is electric shower, was simple to use and it got nice and hot. There is hand wash and shampoo/bodywash in the bathroom. The cleanliness of the house was brilliant. Check in was smooth, the info was set out in an easy to follow order. Communication with Central Stays (Tim) was easy and faultless.

A real find in the centre of Chester. Positive: Fab location, so central but quiet. Our small dog could go out the back door safely. High quality appliances added to the feel of the kitchen area. And everything provided, even down to dishwasher tablets. Negative: Nothing, other than an extra hour's check out!
